Hi everyone, I know that this has been talked about regularly on the forum but I can't find an answer to my specific problem....I know one of you out there will have found something similar! I started the twins a week ago replacing 1/4 of their bottles with full cream milk. About the only thing we noticed straight away was that they both started draining every bottle, something that hasn't happened for quite some time! Then Jackie got slightly constipated (something I expected) but that got better over about 2 days and now she seems fine. Ben was great for about 4 days, but now we have been up with him 2 of the last 3 nights with what seems to be a tummy ache, although there are no obvious signs - no wind, no constipation or diarrhoea, nothing except he won't resettle at night when he wakes up and he does this weird stretching motion that he used to do as a tiny baby when he had colic. My main problem with sorting this out is that he is also teething and his pain may be being caused by teeth coming through, and the fact that he has a belly full of dribble that he has swallowed during the night - he is losing buckets of it during the day! Has anyone had similar responses when starting on cows milk? Any ideas on whether I should continue with the cows milk or go back to formula? Other than his night time upsets both babies are happy and are sleeping, eating, and playing as normal. I would have thought that if the milk was really upsetting them they would have been acting unhappy.
